Fidelity Bank Plc has strengthened its commitment to community safety and environmental sustainability with the donation of vital firefighting and preventive equipment—including hoses and gasoline-powered water pumps—to the Ikoyi Fire Service Station in Lagos.
The donation was carried out under the Fidelity Helping Hands Programme (FHHP) by the bank’s True Serve team. Through the FHHP, Fidelity staff identify pressing community needs, mobilize funds, and receive matching support from the bank to implement impactful projects.
Explaining the initiative, the Divisional Head, Brand and Communications Division, Fidelity Bank Plc, Dr. Meksley Nwagboh, said the donation underscores the bank’s dedication to enhancing emergency response capacity and promoting public safety in the communities it serves.
“Fidelity Bank remains committed to supporting initiatives that protect lives, property, and the environment. Community safety is a shared responsibility, and we will continue to support both institutions and individuals in this regard,” he stated.
