Global Appliances Nigeria Limited, manufacturers of Binatone products, has introduced a new ultra-modern power station into the Nigerian electronics market.
The Managing Director, Mr. Prasun Banerjee, explained that the newly launched Binatone Power Station is a portable, plug-and-play solution equipped with solar-charging capability. According to him, the device is designed for modern lifestyles, providing clean and reliable backup power for homes, small offices, and outdoor activities—particularly during prolonged power outages or in off-grid locations.
Speaking at the official launch in Lagos, Mr. Banerjee said, “For more than five decades, Binatone has supported African households with reliable and affordable appliances. The Binatone Power Station is another important step in our mission to make life easier, smarter, and more sustainable.”
He revealed that the power station series is available in two high-performance variants. The BPS-2400 (2400W) is a robust 2,240Wh unit powered by a 44.8V, 50,000mAh LiFePO₄ battery, delivering up to 4,000 charge cycles. The model features multiple output ports, Bluetooth app connectivity, and expandable capacity, allowing users to add up to two additional BEB-2400 batteries for a total output of 6,720Wh.
The second model, BPS-1800 (1800W), is a lighter, high-efficiency option designed for everyday household needs, offering safe and stable power for appliances, gadgets, and essential home devices.
